Author Bio

Eliza Fabricius is an American poet, memoirist, and author of science fiction, fantasy, and occasional horror. Born in Newport News, Virginia, she attended Christopher Newport University and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Directing and Playwriting. Fabricius continued to hone her writing skills while working different customer service jobs until enrolling in a local trade school for a U.S. Defense Contractor at the age of twenty-four. After six years as a test electrician on submarines and aircraft carriers, she became a Project Manager and obtained her PMP certification. Afterward, she studied to become a Scrum Master, which ultimately led to several roles in the IT industry and allowed her to easily move overseas—a lifelong dream fulfilled.

Described as a “lifelong learner,” she is constantly studying something new. Her most recent studies include neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and the German language. In the future, she aspires to be a polyglot and learn to play classical guitar. She has also studied Funeral Services because, “Death is recession-proof.”

As a lover of video games and technology, she takes great pride in her second gaming build, which includes a custom water-cooling loop that she built herself.

The second gaming build, lovingly called Hawkins Lab.

In her free time, she loves to travel. The countries she’s visited include Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, France, Canada, England, Italy, Luxembourg, Denmark, and the Czech Republic. She currently resides in Franconia, Germany, with her husband and two step-sons.
